Improvements at Waitrose

Seems that I'm not the only dismayed about the ridiculous placement of the sheffield stands at Waitrose.

Yesterday I noticed that there were now stickers affixed to the ones along the Finchley Road reading:

DANGER - IF YOU WANT TO USE THE OUTSIDE OF THIS BIKE RACK TAKE CARE! BUSES PASS CLOSE TO THE KERB AND COULD HIT YOU IF YOU BEND DOWN - IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CALL TFL STREET MANAGEMENT ON 0845 305 1234

Then today, I went by and found that they were in the process of uprooting and refitting all the racks on a diagonal. Still not ideal, perhaps, but definitely an improvement! Makes you wonder what they were thinking in the first place, though.
